Q: How long are the Segment 1 and Segment 2 classes?
A: Segment 1 classes run Mon-Thurs 5:00 to 7:00 for three weeks.
Segment 2 classes run two hours a day for three days. (Call for Scheduling)

Q: How old does my son/daughter have to be to attend classes at United Driving School?
A: Segment 1 students must be 14 and 9 months of age to attend. Segment 2 students must be at least 16 years of age and must possess a Segment 1 permit for a minimum of 6 months.

Q: Are there any books or supplies needed for the courses?
A: We provide the required book for all of the courses. Students are recommended to bring a notebook to take down notes during regular class discussion.

Q: What types of documents are needed to register for the classes?
A: Students must bring a birth certificate or any other type of government issued ID.

Q: Can I miss some days of class?
A: In certain cases, students can make up the days they missed in the next class session.

Q: How can I pay for my tuition?
A: We accept cash, credit, and checks (checks are to be made out to United Driving School).

Q: Are all of your instructors licensed and approved by the state of Michigan?
A: Yes. All our nstructors have gone through a detailed background check with safety in mind.

Q: Are your vehicles safe?
A: Yes. Our vehicles are fully insured and go through a 32 point inspection everyday to make sure your son/daughter is safe.

Q: My son/daughter attends after school activities and cannot make it to some class sessions.
A: We do offer many accommodations for high school students who are enrolled in sports, clubs, etc. Call for more details.

Q:
I am from from a country were the driver is on the right. Do you offer training that can teach me to drive on the left?
A: Yes. Many of our student are from foreign countries. The transition from right to left is often difficult for some students. We understand your situation and can help.
